Whether you’re a seasoned diver or a complete beginner, The Lake at Cromhall Quarry is the perfect place to hone your dive skills.

Dive Sessions: £16.00 – Sessions take place on Saturdays and Sundays. Arrive 08:30, off-site by 16:30.

Bookings: Dive sessions are limited to just 75 divers. We can only accept one booking per account.

Diving is only permitted for individuals aged 10 years and older.

Our IDEST-certified Technical Services Department provides comprehensive testing, servicing, and repairs for cylinders, regulators, BCDs, and dry suits. We also offer air, oxygen, nitrox, and mixed gas fills.

What are the key features for diving at The Lake?

Cromhall Quarry boasts a 4-hectare lake with a maximum depth of 17 meters. It features a sloping beach and a pontoon for easy access, making it suitable for all levels of divers.

What are the diving session times and costs?

Scuba diving sessions run on weekends from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and are priced at £16 per session. To ensure a quality diving experience, we limit each session to 75 divers.

Are there any qualifications required to dive at The Lake?

Yes, divers must be suitably trained, qualified, and competent, adhering to the standards of their diving certification. Divers can also dive under the instruction of a qualified instructor.

Can I dive solo at The Lake?

No, solo diving is not permitted for safety reasons. You must dive with a buddy or as part of a group.

What can I expect to see underwater?

The Lake is home to a variety of exciting attractions, including a submerged Rockwell Commander light aircraft, a Westland Wessex helicopter, and other vehicles. There are also training platforms at various depths.

Are there any restrictions while diving?

For safety, divers must maintain a distance of at least 3 meters from the cliff face, both above and below the waterline. It is also important not to dislodge any rocks while diving.
